The Funky Kongs are a Belfast-based band of musicians and gamers bringing iconic video game soundtracks to life with a jazz fusion twist. Playing music from the iconic soundtracks of Mario Kart, Final Fantasy, Animal Crossing, Undertale and beyond. Join us for Culture Night as we take on those frustrating boss battles to main menu chimes in a character customisation station. Get ready for a funky show packed with nostalgia, audience interaction, and a whole lot of groove. 

We are a home grown, and highly specialised band, featuring a saxophone, bass, guitar, drums and keys, curating some of the best ludo music from the 80’s to now, the show provided offers to be completely refreshing, aiming to introduce audiences to jazz and funk through the medium of video games! The cake is definitely not a lie!
